ODRŽAN SEMINAR „EU FONDOVI, OD IDEJE DO GRANTA“
Today, the “EU Funds: From Idea to Grant” seminar was held at the Business Start-Up Center Bar Foundation, bringing together 35 entrepreneurs, representatives of small and medium-sized enterprises, and other interested participants seeking to connect their business ideas and development plans with available European funding and support programmes.
The seminar was organized by the Business Start-Up Center Bar Foundation in cooperation with the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro, with the aim of introducing participants to the opportunities offered by EU funds, while also providing practical information on how to identify relevant calls, prepare project applications, find partners, and develop project ideas.
During the seminar, Ivana Tomašević from the Business Start-Up Center Bar Foundation presented various EU funding opportunities, types of calls, ways to identify relevant programmes, as well as the key steps involved in preparing a successful project application. Particular emphasis was placed on how to structure a business idea and transform it into a project that responds to the requirements of specific calls.
Jelena Vučeraković from the Municipality of Bar presented opportunities arising from the Municipality of Bar’s projects and activities, with particular emphasis on the benefits of networking, cooperation, and connecting local entrepreneurs with institutions and potential partners.
A particular strength of the seminar was the active participation of the attendees. The discussion included numerous concrete questions related to funding opportunities, the eligibility of project ideas, partner identification, application preparation, and practical steps entrepreneurs can take to align their ideas with available support programmes. Participants also put forward concrete proposals and ideas for future cooperation and the development of new initiatives.
The seminar evaluation showed a high level of participant satisfaction, both with the content and relevance of the topics covered, as well as with the expertise of the speakers and the practical value of the knowledge gained. Participants particularly highlighted the importance of information that they can directly apply to the development of their business and project ideas.
The seminar marks the beginning of more continuous support for entrepreneurs in accessing European programmes and business opportunities. The Business Start-Up Center Bar Foundation and the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro will continue their cooperation by providing information and advisory support, as well as connecting local businesses with relevant European networks and partners.
In the coming period, participants will receive support in accessing the opportunities offered by the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), the world’s largest support network for small and medium-sized enterprises in Europe. Through EEN, businesses can access information on international business opportunities, identify potential business and project partners, and benefit from a range of support services related to internationalisation, innovation, and business development.
