BSC Bar and the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro Organize Seminar on Business Project Development and BudgetingProject development and budgeting
Bar, 6 October 2026 – The Chamber of Economy of Montenegro and the Foundation Business Start-up Center Bar organized the seminar “Business Project Development and Budgeting”, aimed at entrepreneurs, startups, and representatives of small businesses seeking to improve their business planning and make better use of available funding opportunities.
During the seminar, participants were introduced to the Business Model Canvas (BMC) methodology, business project development, financial flow planning, and budgeting. Particular emphasis was placed on linking project activities to costs and preparing high-quality project proposals for support programmes, including EU funds.
The seminar was delivered by Milena Gaćina, Advisor in the Entrepreneurship and Innovation Department of the Secretariat for Local Economic Development of the Municipality of Bar, and Dr Ivana Tomašević, Director of the Foundation Business Start-up Center Bar and Professor at the Faculty of Business Economics and Law. Drawing on their experience in entrepreneurship support, mentoring, and financial planning, they presented practical tools to help participants turn business ideas into viable projects.
The seminar also featured a presentation of the MontEENegro network – Enterprise Europe Network (EEN), which supports businesses through business networking, partner identification, and access to opportunities for growth and internationalisation.
The seminar received positive feedback from participants, who expressed interest in further practical training on preparing project applications, Interreg programmes, developing logical frameworks, and identifying suitable funding calls. The need for stronger support for manufacturing businesses and regular information-sharing with micro and small enterprises about available funding opportunities was also highlighted.
The Chamber of Economy of Montenegro and the Foundation Business Start-up Center Bar will continue to strengthen entrepreneurs’ capacities and contribute to the development of a competitive economy through training, mentoring, and business networking.
