On 23 October 2026, the Business Start-up Centre Bar Foundation (BSC Bar), in cooperation with the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro and the Regional Business Centre Berane, organised a seminar entitled “EU Funds – From Funding Opportunities to High-Quality Project Proposals”. The seminar was aimed at representatives of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs), entrepreneurs and all those interested in accessing European funding opportunities for business development.
The seminar took place at the premises of the Regional Business Centre in Berane. The trainer was Radivoje Drobnjak, MSc, Programme Activities Manager at the Science and Technology Park of Montenegro, who has extensive experience in developing and implementing support programmes for entrepreneurship, innovation and small and medium-sized enterprises.
During the seminar, participants gained an overview of available EU funds and support programmes, as well as the funding opportunities that European programmes offer for business development, improving competitiveness and implementing innovative ideas.
Particular attention was given to the practical aspects of preparing high-quality and competitive project proposals. Through expert presentations and discussion, participants explored the key steps in developing project applications, the importance of clearly defining objectives and activities, planning project results and aligning project ideas with the priorities and requirements of specific funding calls.
The seminar brought together 22 participants and provided an opportunity to exchange experiences, ask questions and gain further information about the opportunities that EU funding programmes offer to Montenegrin businesses. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of identifying relevant funding calls in a timely manner and preparing high-quality project documentation as essential conditions for successfully accessing EU funding.
Through activities of this kind, the Business Start-up Centre Bar Foundation continues, in cooperation with the Chamber of Economy of Montenegro and regional partners, to contribute to strengthening the capacities of entrepreneurs and SMEs, improving their access to information and funding opportunities, and supporting balanced entrepreneurship development across Montenegro.
BSC Bar remains committed to supporting entrepreneurs in identifying development opportunities, preparing high-quality projects and connecting with funding sources that can contribute to business growth and competitiveness.
