Business start-up center Bar is organizing workshop 'SMART technologies in tourism' on 07th and 08th June, 2021. The workshop will be held from 9 am to 2 pm (with breaks) in the Business Start-up Center in Bar (Bar, Bulevar revolucije bb, Business Center 'Tower A', floor V), and all interested who cannot physically attend, can follow the workshop online, live via the zoom platform.
Topics that will be discussed at the workshop are:
1. Research of the digital market and definition of target groups of consumers;
2. Availability of digital channels and use for the purposes of increasing the market and sales of the tourist product;
3. Creating marketing strategies based on smart technologies;
4. Use of modern tools for better presentation of the destination and its offer.

The lecturer at the workshop is Anđela Đokić, a specialist in management and marketing in the tourism industry, and she has been dealing with digital marketing for seven years, managing part of the Global network of travel guides for Montenegro - My Guide Montenegro. She is the founder of the FitCamp Montenegro concept, and she has developed her knowledge in the field of entrepreneurship and digital marketing with teams from Great Britain and the Netherlands.
Organizing the workshop is an activity of the project 'Window2Bar', no. contract CFCU / MNE / 140, Program: IPA II-Multi - Annual Action Program for Montenegro of Employment, Education and Social policies (2015-2017). The goal of the project is to contribute to the development of innovative tourist products and services using smart technologies in the municipality of Bar. So far, the project has developed a methodology and conducted research with stakeholders in tourism and tourists, and installed beacon technology at 5 locations in Bar, where tourists will learn more about the cultural and historical offer of Bar and the offer of local businessmen through gamification.
