As part of the project 'High technology for sustainable extensive olive cultivation and innovations in the traditional food value chain' realized by the NGO Business Start Center Bar in cooperation with Barska Uljar doo in BSC Bar on March 27 and 28, 2024. a workshop was held on the topic 'Business model development'.
The goal of the workshop was how to create a sustainable business model for the production of olive oil, olives, and other gastronomic and cosmetic products based on olive oil.
The project is co-financed by the Government of Montenegro and the EU through the Grant scheme 'Scientific potential in the service of innovation'.
So far, through the project, we have installed weather stations in 4 olive groves in Bar. These weather stations will provide the opportunity for olive growers to act preventively to protect the olive tree.
