Mentoring

BSC Bar offers entrepreneurs and small and medium enterprises a mentoring service. Mentoring implies a long-term process of analyzing the work of a company using a number of techniques and tools. Based on the data provided by the company's management, as well as on the basis of the financial statements and periodic monitoring of the company's operations, the mentor makes a number of analyses and reports them to the management of the company on the strong and weak points in the business. A further step that the company should take after the mentoring process is to seek the help of a consultant who is tasked with offering a solution for the specific problems the mentor has previously indicated.

BSC Bar, through cooperation with the Directorate for the Development of Small and Medium Enterprises, and under the program of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), conducts mentoring for small and medium enterprises in the Bar region. Over the past 2 years, since the agreement was signed, BSC Bar staff provided mentoring services for 8 companies in the Bar region. Each of these companies received support in business for a total duration of 50 hours.
