PUBLIC CALL TO UNEMPLOYED YOUNG PERSONS (15-30 YEARS) AND WOMEN FOR FREE LICENSED TOURIST GUIDE TRAINING

Business start-up center Bar and the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro for the purposes of the project 'Skills for Sustainable Employment and Inclusive Economic Growth of Cross-Border Region of Albania and Montenegro - Skills for Jobs Albania - Montenegro' are announcing:

The training will be conducted at the Faculty of Tourism and Business in Budva, which is a licensed institution in Montenegro for the training of tourist guides. The training program will be carried out in accordance with the Education Program for training for the profession of tourist guide, and is intended for candidates from the municipalities: Podgorica, Tuzi, Danilovgrad, Budva, Bar, Ulcinj and Cetinje.
The target group is unemployed young people (15-30 years old) and women who lack practical knowledge and skills to become competitive on the labor market for the tourism industry. Upon completion of this course, candidates will be ready to perform the following jobs: tour guide, tour guide, owner and manager of a tour agency, tour operator, etc.
The training will be carried out for a total of 5 participants, and will be financed by the Chamber of Commerce of Montenegro through the project 'Skills for sustainable employment and inclusive economic growth of the cross-border area of ​​Albania and Montenegro - Skills for the job Albania-Montenegro'.

Selected candidates will have their travel expenses covered for the course in Budva.
Also, candidates who acquire a license for the profession of tourist guide will have the opportunity for a one-day visit to a city in the cross-border area with the aim of gaining insight into the experiences of their colleagues in Albania, and these costs are covered by the project.
The course starts in February 2024, and the participants will be informed about the exact start time of the course.

The application for the course of tourist guides will be made in the period from 20.12.2023. – 24.01. in 2024.
To apply, interested candidates must send the following information or attach the following documents to the email addresses s.jovanovic@bscbar.org or svovanovic@pkcg.org no later than January 24, 2024:
- Name and surname;
- Contact phone;
- residence address;
- a copy of the diploma on acquired education (at least high school - IV degree);
- certificate of knowledge of a foreign language at level B2 or higher;
- a copy of the identity card or passport
- certificate of unemployment (if you are registered at the labor office).


Candidates who are unemployed and who are not involved in any other activity of the same project will have priority among the applicants. If the registered candidates meet all the requirements, the date of application will be taken into account during the selection process.
